WELCOME TO EDUCATION
All children have a right to be educated in thorough, culturally-responsive, and equitable ways. A good education is generous and inspirational, and through writing, I hope to understand why American education can’t seem to find its way towards these two key elements, despite decades of re-design. I want to give anyone who’s interested new ways of imagining how we might educate our young people. I expect to miss the mark often. I expect to fail. But with time, and with enough attempts — hopefully, every once in a while — I can fail better.
